Elizabeth Maffetone

Teaching Professor, English Department

Elizabeth “Izzy” Maffetone received her B.A from The College of Wooster and completed her graduate work at Indiana University, Bloomington. Her research focuses on the linkages among gendered violence and acts of reading, writing, and interpretation in the Middle Ages. In addition to her interests in medieval literature, Dr. Maffetone is deeply invested in teaching first-year writers and writing.
