Midwest Regional Sustainability Summit

Bill Madges, former director of the Brueggeman Center, speaking at the Midwest Regional Sustainability Summit in 2022.

The 2024 Summit: From Vision to Action

There is perhaps no more important issue that faces us as a community, a nation or a world than climate change. The Brueggeman Center is involved in work in our community and around the world. In keeping with our belief that the real work is local, even when we work globally we work with local communities.

The Brueggeman Center has been closely involved with the planning and organization of the MidWest Regional Sustainability Summit since its beginning. The 2024 Summit will take place on Thursday, May 2nd at The Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Brueggeman Center for Dialogue is proud to sponsor three poster presentations at this year's event:

  • "Relationship Models Addressing Food Insecurity at NEXUS Community Garden and Urban Farm," by Tim Sundrup
  • "Using Red Bike's Data Dashboard to Compare Red Bike Monthly and Go Pass Members," by Jeremy Steeves and Doug McClintock
  • "Native Tree and Shrub Giveaway: Building Community and Inspiring Ecological Conversion," by Tim Severyn
