Diana Boling, MSN, RN, PMH-BC, CNL, TCN-A
Senior Teaching Professor
Diana is a nurse educator whose specialty is psychiatric mental health nursing. She is a first-generation college student and an avid proponent for mental health and self-care. In Ms. Boling's free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets, playing ukulele, and practicing karate.
Diana received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Cincinnati and her Master of Science in Nursing from Xavier University through the MIDAS program. She worked at the bedside in psychiatry before becoming an adjunct faculty member in 2012 at the University of Cincinnati, and in 2017 joined the then Xavier School of Nursing before becoming a full-time faculty member in 2019. In AY 2023-24, she was promoted to Senior Teaching Professor. In AY 2024-2025, Ms. Boling was co-named Teacher of the Year.
She has certifications in Psychiatric-Mental Health nursing (PMH-BC), Transcultural Nursing-Advanced (TCN-A), and Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL).
