Christina Busick, DNP, FNP, MHA, RN

I have dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Human Development Family Science from The Ohio State University. I worked in research for several years; both at Cincinnati Children Hospital Medical Center in Psychiatry and Bariatric Surgery as well as at the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine focused on primary care. I went back to school at the University of Cincinnati, completing an accelerated BSN and MHA at the same time.

I gained my bedside nursing experience at Cincinnati Children's in their critical care float pool. I have practiced bedside in the NICU and PICU at over 20 different facilities as a contract nurse. I have taught clinical for various nursing schools since 2018. During this time, I also finished my DNP-FNP at UC. I also, have experience consulting for various health care tech and medical device companies.

I have been a professor at Xavier University since January 2023. Since that time I have taught in the traditional BSN program, MIDAS and now graduate program. I am thrilled to be a member of the Xavier community!
