Lisa Jutte, PhD, AT, ATC

Associate Dean, College of Health and Human Sciences

Lisa S. Jutte, PhD, AT, ATC, is the Provost Fellow for Interprofessional Education (IPE) and Associate Dean for the College of Health and Human Sciences at Xavier University. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Hope College, her master’s degree from Indiana State University, and her PhD in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University.

Dr. Jutte’s career spans clinical practice, health professions education, research, and academic leadership. As an athletic trainer and educator and administrator, she has advanced athletic training education, developed innovative curricular, led international study abroad programs, and promoted team-based approaches to healthcare education. Her scholarship has advanced knowledge in therapeutic interventions, evidence-based practice, healthcare education, and interprofessional learning.

As the Provost Fellow for IPE, Dr. Jutte provides strategic leadership for interprofessional education initiatives across multiple colleges and health professions programs. As Associate Dean, she contributes to the strategic leadership and daily operations of a multidisciplinary college, overseeing faculty affairs and curriculum development, while fostering collaborative partnerships with healthcare systems and community organizations. She collaborates with faculty, academic leaders, and healthcare partners to strengthen academic programs, expand interprofessional learning opportunities, and advance institutional priorities that prepare graduate to make a difference in the lives of others.
