Host Your Students

According to the authors of How College Works, "just a single visit to a faculty member's home could significantly shift a student's entire vision of the college experience."

The College of Arts and Sciences encourages faculty to host groups of students (not an individual student) at their home for dessert, a snack, or a meal. CAS will reimburse faculty for up to $200 for meals hosted early in the first five weeks of the semester and $125 for meals hosted later. If this is the right fit for you, we urge you to welcome your students to your home.
