A time for peace

Yesterday, Russia's autocrat marked the UN International Day of Peace by escalating his unprovoked war against Ukraine.

Meanwhile members of our community presented their art and music against racism and in support of peace -- part of the International Week of Peace organized by CAS's own Madeleine Mitchell and her FYS students together with CDI, CFJ, CIE, the Art Department, and GSC. The turnout and energy were great.

Tonight's equinox signals the return of Autumn, and soon Rosh Hashanah will mark the start of a new year in the Jewish calendar.
