Mrs. Maynard's love for engineering and physics is driven by a curiosity for how complex systems work and how thoughtful engineering can turn simple ideas into reliable, real-world solutions. Mrs. Maynard's career has focused in thermal engineering and systems engineering—two disciplines that sit at the intersection of theory, analysis, and practical application. She brings over 15 years of aerospace industrial experience into her classroom educational experiences.
Alongside her technical endeavors, Mrs. Maynard has a strong passion for teaching and knowledge sharing. She enjoys breaking down complex concepts into clear, approachable ideas to build confidence in students as they learn. Whether through formal instruction or informal mentorship, she enjoys helping translate "how" we do the work to the underlying "why".
