We begin our Opening Day celebration in prayer with a faculty/staff morning Mass at Bellarmine Chapel. All are welcome to attend.

Meet in front of Gallagher Student Center
Take a scenic stroll through our beautiful campus while learning a fact or two about some of the most iconic landmarks and statues at Xavier.

Today is your day! All Xavier employees have free access to the recreational center on Opening Day. Bring a change of clothes and enjoy all the HUB has to offer!

9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Cintas Center, West Entrance
Start the year off with a new photo of you! Professional photographers will be available at photo stations to help you look your best.

Join D'Artagnan and the Blue Blob for a coffee and donuts social! Catch up with your colleagues over light refreshments before the Opening Day Convocation.

We're wrapping up this unforgettable day with a delectable treat — ice-cream floats! Join your colleagues and sip on tasty floats in your very own take-home mug. Pepsi and AVI FoodSystems will also host a table and canopy to distribute cold bottled water and Three Musketeers bars.
👕 GSC All For One Shop Discount
9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Employees can receive 20% off an entire order of apparel and general merchandise at the GSC All For One Shop (does not include University Station location or online). This will also include a sidewalk sale event with select merchandise on the plaza outside GSC.
The Cura Awards
The Cura Awards shine light on Xavier employees who have displayed excellence in their field and toward one of the Curas. Nominations can be submitted throughout the academic year and come from any employee. Learn more on the Cura Awards webpage.
