Chris Caporale

Adjunct Faculty, Jazz Piano

Chris Caporale is a Cincinnati-based jazz pianist and educator. At a young age Chris gravitated to the piano, sparking a lifelong passion for music and improvisation in all forms. A 2022 graduate of the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music, Chris maintains an active performance schedule and can be heard in top venues all across the region. Recent performance accolades include being the Yamaha prize winner and finalist in the 2022 American Jazz Pianist Competition, as well as piano honorable mention at the Jazz At Lincoln Center’s 2022 Jack Rudin competition. In addition to performing, Chris is an active educator, teaching Jazz Piano as adjunct faculty at Xavier University, and is the collaborative pianist for Northern Kentucky University’s vocal jazz program.
