Hobbies or personal interests: I enjoy learning about child development, taking classes, learning about neuroscience and the way we learn. I love making crafts, painting with watercolors, sewing, crocheting, knitting. I enjoy using all those skills to make materials for the classroom. I love traveling and visiting different places. When going to new places, I enjoy learning about the culture, history, and geography, getting books, items, and collecting ideas to put lessons together for my students. My eyes are always looking for material for the classroom. Fun facts, I always tell my students that because I was born in Argentina and Spanish is my first language, I learned English when I was old, so I speak with accent. I do it with the desire to show them that we are all learning, but also so they feel welcome to correct me and help me with my English. I always enjoy their faces every time I say they are welcome to correct me! They love it!

Favorite part of Montessor: Everything! I think following the child and celebrating their interests and talents is one of my favorite things. I value the self-motivation for learning that children have in the Montessori environment. I am a life-long learning, so even though I wasn’t a Montessori student when I was young, I consider myself an adult Montessori student while following my career path.
