Extended Care Rates

Extended care is available to all children enrolled in the lab school. The hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 am to 5:00pm. Extended care is not included in tuition rates and is collected separately from tuition payments. You may use it part-time or full-time, but you must register in advance for a discounted rate.

The extended care program is licensed by the Ohio Department of Education - Early Childhood Division and is directed by a Childcare Coordinator. The Childcare Coordinator is a credentialed Montessori teacher and is assisted by college students who are enrolled in the Montessori Teacher Education Program.

The children remain on the university premises for this program and are provided a wide range of developmentally appropriate activities.
