Course Reserves

Course reserves are books, videos, and other materials that a faculty member wants an entire class to have access to, but chooses not to ask students to purchase. An example would be a book where only a chapter or two are relevant to the course. Check out times vary between 3 hours and 1 week, depending on the faculty member's preference, with fines applying after the due date or time, so pay attention when you check out the item.

Access

Information about specific reserve materials may be accessed via the AllForOne Search. Materials must be requested and checked out at the Connection Center on the 3rd floor of the Conaton Learning Commons (CLC). A valid Xavier University ID (ONE Pass) is required to check out reserve materials. To avoid overdue charges, please return all reserve materials on time to the Connection Center. Do not leave them on tables, by the photocopiers, or elsewhere in the library or CLC. Course reserves are available up to 15 minutes before closing.
