He will address ethical considerations, supporting technology, and ways we can discuss the technological and environmental impacts of AI on these assignments, offering ideas to keep projects authentic and meaningful across disciplines.
MAHA BALI - Digital Literacy & Anti-Racist Pedagogy

This keynote will focus on faculty reflecting on their own digital literacy skills while also equipping them to develop anti-racist digital media content, pedagogical processes and assignments/assessments. We will explore how to do work that is rooted in equity and justice, challenging traditional educational paradigms that often perpetuate systemic racism and exclusion. This session will empower faculty to create inclusive digital learning environments, where digital media is used intentionally to foster racial healing, address historical injustices, and promote Ignatian belonging. Special thanks to the Division of Ignatian Belonging, who helped make this session possible through the TRTH grant.
