Xavier University's Center for Innovation seeks to engage Xavier students with mission-aligned ventures and opportunities while aiming to foster interdisciplinary experiential learning at the university. These skills are especially relevant in our current world that is increasingly diverse, uncertain, complex, and interdependent; therefore, it comes as no surprise that innovation and entrepreneurship have become an important dynamic in the world we live in.
According to Forbes, Cincinnati, Ohio is experiencing significant growth in partnerships between accelerators, incubators, corporates, and startups, and is witnessing increased venture capital funding. Therefore, Cincinnati appears on the Forbes list of the top 10 rising cities for startups.
Xavier’s Center for Innovation leverages Xavier’s strengths, key assets, and core values to guide three strategic pillars. As a Jesuit university that is rooted in its community, this center also serves as the nexus of collaboration between both the community at Xavier and within Cincinnati to promote and propel our strategic pillars for student learning.
