Business Analytics Program

There is a significant gap between the supply and demand of individuals with analytics skills with demand far outpacing supply.  The major in Business Analytics enables students to emerge with the necessary skills to immediately contribute to businesses in roles which require training in and aptitude for data analysis.  Through the utilization of real-world data sets, our students will gain the skills, confidence and expertise required to succeed in today’s data-driven business world.

Student’s pursuing a major in Business Analytics will not only develop strong analytic skills but also emerge as ethically responsible users of data.  Ultimately, students will be able to help businesses make better decisions through data analysis and statistical modelling.

By studying business analytics, you will:

  • Understand how to effectively apply analytics and technology to businesses in the global community of the 21st century.
  • Learn to combine analytics, technology and business skills in ways that will add value to company operations
  • Develop your communication skills and analytic abilities, along with technical expertise, to make you more competitive in one of the world's largest and fastest-growing fields.
