Mark Sena, Ph.D.

Chair and Professor, Business Analytics and Information Systems

Mark Sena is a professor in the department of Business Analytics and Information Systems. He began his career at Xavier in 2000 after receiving his Ph.D. in Decision Science and Information Systems at the University of Kentucky. He also holds a BBA in Business Analysis from Texas A&M and an MBA from Miami University. Prior to his academic career, Mark worked in software development at Honda of America Manufacturing and BDM International.

Mark's teaching and research interest focus on implementing business applications, software development electronic commerce, and advanced spreadsheet development. He has also been on study abroad trips to Israel, Germany, England, France, Spain, Belgium and Italy. Mark's hobbies include basketball, movies, music, and travel.
