"The John A. Boehner Fellowship Program at Xavier University will help bring the next generation to Washington, DC to help young people learn the values and fundamentals of public service, guided by the example John Boehner has shared with his alma mater."

Each year students from diverse backgrounds will be supported and gain experience through real-world learning, and become solution-oriented leaders. Thanks to generous donations, this fund will provide internships, service-learning opportunities, and other vocational experiences related to public policy for students from any academic program. Since 2018, a wide variety of educational and professional opportunities have been supported for students who have a passion for politics and public service including Congressional Internships, and Student Group Experiences.
