Department of Biology - Biology Minor

A minor in biology is earned by completing 15 credit hours of required biology courses including the introductory general biology lecture and lab courses (BIOL 160-163), plus an additional seven hours of upper division courses with at least one lecture-lab combination, selected from advanced courses (BIOL 200-461). A 2.000 cumulative average must be attained in all these biology courses. Students should consult the department chair concerning specific requirements for the minor.
