Louis Goldsmith

Louis Goldsmith was hired as a academic mentor in Xavier's Student-Athlete Academic Support Services Department in August of 2023. He was promoted to Athletic Academic Specialist in January of 2025.

Goldsmith has multiple years of girls’ basketball coaching experience, and is currently coaching at Ursuline Academy and Midwest Takeover AAU.

Goldsmith holds his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law. During law school, he spent time as corporate counsel intern at Globetrotters Engineering Corporation in Chicago. He also worked in the football coach and executive representation business at Harlan Sports Management.

The Cincinnati, Ohio, native holds a bachelor’s degree in sport management and minor in writing from the University of Michigan. During his time in Ann Arbor, he served as the head student manager for the women’s basketball program, working alongside coaches and players during both practices and games, while also accompanying them on road trips.
