National Day of Service and Solidarity

National Day of Service and Solidarity

We invite Xavier alumni, family, and friends across the United States to celebrate the 530th anniversary of the birth of St. Ignatius Loyola through participation in the National Day of Service and Solidarity on October 23. This day of service will kick off the inauguration of Xavier’s 35th President, Colleen M. Hanycz, PhD.

If you are interested in participating, please find a location near you below and register if required. More sites will be added, and continue to check back for additional locations.

If you do not see a project in your area, you are encouraged to participate in a community service project of your choice. You can also participate by donating online to the Stock The Store initiative on campus through an Amazon Wish List or making a donation to be used to purchase $5 Kroger gift cards so students can buy fresh produce, campus meal swipes and more.

If you have any questions or wish to coordinate a site in your area, please contact Becky Jackson, Director of Alumni Engagement at jacksonr1@xavier.edu
