HLC Year-4 Assurance Review

In July 2025, Xavier University successfully completed its Open Pathway Assurance (Year-4) Review with no recommended monitoring and all criteria deemed met.

The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) conducts an Assurance Review in Years 4 and 10 to determine whether institutions are in compliance with their stated criteria for accreditation. Xavier’s Year-4 Review is due in June 2025. This is primarily an update to the 2021 assurance filing and does not include a site visit.

In 2024-2025, more than 80 Xavier community members were engaged in updating the comprehensive Assurance Review from 2020-2021.
