MHSA Program Information

Admission & Info Sessions

Our students come from a variety of academic backgrounds including health services, psychology, business, natural sciences and general studies. We are pleased to consider applications from students who hold a baccalaureate degree from any accredited college or university.

Your application to the Xavier University graduate program in health services administration is carefully reviewed by our admissions committee. We consider each student's application on a case-by-case basis with personal attention given to all your application materials.

APPLICATION DEADLINES

Complete an information request form (button at the bottom of the page) to receive application openings, deadlines, and other program updates. 

RESIDENTIAL MHSA & MHSA/MBA Dual Degree* (Full time, on campus) - Admits in Fall each year

  • FALL 2024 PRIORITY FUNDING DEADLINE: April 15, 2024. Applicants who submit their applications before this date may be considered for departmental funding on a priority basis. Remaining funds will be distributed after this date until their are exhausted. 
  • FALL 2024 FINAL APPLICATION DEADLINE: June 1, 2024. 

*MHSA/MBA Dual Degree applicants should first complete the MHSA application. Once processed, complete the MBA application. Both applications are free of charge and available in the Xavier University graduate application. 

EXECUTIVE MHSA (Part time, online) - Admits in Fall and Spring each year

  • FALL 2024 FINAL APPLICATION DEADLINE: August 1, 2024
  • SPRING 2025 Deadlines will be announced once determined. The Spring 25 application should open in August or September 2024. 

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Our FREE application is through Xavier, not an expensive third party. Instructions for document uploads, references, and transcripts are in the application. Applications may close at any time once programs fill. Apply early

Specific admission criteria:

Guild Tuition & Fee Reimbursement
Guild is a third party who contracts with specific employers, such as Cincinnati Children's Hospital, to administer tuition benefit reimbursement.
