Mike Garcia

Assistant Dean of Admission, Undergraduate Admission

Welcome to Xavier! My name is Mike Garcia and I work in the undergraduate admission office to help bring in the newest generation of Musketeers every year. I first came to Xavier as a graduate student studying Theology and working in the Dorothy Day Center for Faith and Justice. My plan was to get my degree and probably move back to California where I am originally from, but my plan quickly changed once I got to campus. I was amazed by Xavier's community of support and I decided to make my move to Cincinnati permanent. My best piece of advice for seniors who are making their college decision is to remember that you are a unique person with your own set of needs and hopes. Find the place that will support you along your college journey and meet your needs. If you have any Xavier questions, don't hesitate to reach out.
