Biography

Hello – my name is Fritz Burgher and I am the Regional Recruitment Director for New Jersey, the New York City metro area, and the Philadelphia metro area. I have spent the past 8 years working in college admissions because I believe in the power of higher education and its potential to help shape young minds in an everchanging world. I remember feeling uncertain about what the next four years would hold when I was a high school senior, and now enjoy getting to help students and families navigate the college admissions process every cycle.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, seeing Broadway shows, relaxing in Central Park, and watching college sports!

Xavier truly cares about the holistic development of its students. You’re never just a number on campus, and once you’re part of the Xavier community, you’re a Musketeer for life!

Favorite thing about Cincinnati
Although I didn’t grow up in Ohio, I was raised rabid Ohio sports fan. Whether it’s cheering on our student athletes or supporting one of the city’s many professional sports teams, Cincinnati is a great place to be if you love athletics.

Best advice for seniors who are making their college decision
At it’s best, college is an opportunity for you to grow and to find your people. Talk with as many current students as you can while you explore your options because those students could become your classmates in a year’s time.
