Supporting our Undocumented Students
All are welcome at Xavier University regardless of faith, national origin or immigration status. Xavier does not consider immigration status when making admissions decisions or merit scholarship decisions. To the members of the Xavier community affected by DACA (Deferred Action of Childhood Arrivals), your Xavier family is here to support you. If a student's DACA status expires, Xavier will continue to honor their institutional scholarships.
Please see a message from Xavier University President Michael J. Graham, S.J., about Xavier's support for DACA students.
We are aware that many of our community members have questions and concerns after the announcement impacting DACA.
Read the DACA rescission memo for more detail.

How can you help?
Even if you have not been affected by DACA decision, you can help. Here's how:
This year, as a part of Xavier's recognition of LatinX heritage month, we will be raising donations to support Casa de Paz, an organization and shelter created to support Latina survivors of trauma and abuse in the Cincinnati area. During each event this month (September 15- October 15) we will offer the opportunity to purchase $3.00 raffle tickets. In addition, we encourage the Xavier community to make personal donations to benefit the work of this organization. For more information about the history and mission of Casa de Paz, visit https://www.casadepazcinci.org/mission. This is the inaugural year for our LatinX month charitable donations and we plan to select a different local organization to support each year.
How can you get engaged?
Join us for a Latin X Student Immigration 101 event on October 2, 2017 from 3 - 4:30 PM in the Center for Diversity and Inclusion (GSC 280). We hope to see you there!
