Smooth Transitions is an exclusive, two-day pre-orientation experience crafted for a select group of first-year and first-generation incoming students. It's designed to help you create early connections and build a strong sense of belonging from the moment you arrive on campus.
At Xavier, we pride ourselves on our close-knit community, and Smooth Transitions is a perfect example of this commitment in action. You'll immediately be connected with supportive faculty and upper-division students dedicated to your success. As a participant, you'll be paired with both a faculty and a student mentor who will be there to guide and support you throughout your entire first year.
