A Cincinnati native, Kiaya Carter brings a diverse professional background spanning higher education, nonprofit and community-based organizations, and the corporate sector. Her experience includes program development, communications, operations, strategic initiatives, engagement, and student success.
Throughout her career, Kiaya has been passionate about creating meaningful experiences, strengthening communities, and building work that has a lasting impact. She believes meaningful and impactful work is most effective when it is rooted in partnership.
A first-generation college graduate, Kiaya earned her bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and her master’s degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Miami University. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
