Teresa VanDenend Sorge

Teresa VanDenend Sorge is a dancer, dance educator and choreographer. She is the Co-Director of Synergy Dance Series funded by ArtsWave and National Endowment for the Arts. In addition to Xavier, Teresa teaches at NKU and Miami Valley Ballet Theatre and is a lecturer at Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia. For nearly a decade, she was a full-time lecturer at Muhlenberg College specializing in dance education and is the founding directors of Koresh Kids Dance, the educational outreach program of Koresh Dance Company. Teresa’s choreography and scholarship has been shared at multiple venues including the Cincy Fringe Festival, Kennedy Heights Arts Center, daCi National and International conferences, Philadelphia Fringe Festival, The Cincinnati Art Museum, the Mayo Clinic, National Guild for Community Arts Education, and the National Dance Education Organization. Teresa is on the board of daCi USA. She holds a EdM in Dance from Temple University and an MFA in Dance from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. https://teresavandenendsorge.com/
