Keenan Freeman, CPT

CPT Keenan Freeman is from Enon, Ohio. He received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Wittenberg University, then entered into active service in 2017. He then attended basic training and Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning, Georgia, where he received his commission as a Military Intelligence officer with a branch detail in Infantry in May of 2018.
CPT Freeman graduated from Infantry BOLC, Airborne, and U.S. Army Ranger School in the summer of 2019. Upon graduation he was assigned to Fort Benning GA and served as a Light Infantry Platoon Leader and Heavy Weapons Company Executive Officer with Task Force 1-28IN, 3rd Infantry Division. CPT Freeman then attended the Military Intelligence Officer Transition Course, and Captain’s Career Course at Fort Huachuca, Arizona before being stationed at Fort Bragg as a member of the team at 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne) in 2023. CPT Freeman contributed to several named operations and deployed numerous times while serving in the United States Special Operations Command prior to joining the Xavier ROTC team.
CPT Freeman has been married to his wife, Kari, for 10 years. They have two children, Sydney and Will Freeman.- St. Barbara Hall
