Curriculum
This course covers behavioral theory and its underlying principles as applied to the development of managerial and team work skills for health services administrators. 3 credits.
This course addresses the nature and application of various quantitative methods for analyzing and improving organizational systems and processes within the health care field.
This course jntroduces the theoretical application of statistical quality management in health care as well as the practical application of quality improvement methods in health care settings.
Choose one of the following two courses:
- HESA 559: Healthcare Project Administration- This course prepares students to plan, organize, lead, participate in, control, and improve projects in health care settings.
- HESA 567: Applied Epidemiology- This course introduces students to the application of epidemiology to population health and health services and to the application of epidemiologic literature in health services management. regular education teachers and administrators.
