Our Mission Statement

The Center for Ignatian Belonging provides University-wide leadership to promote and support the development and success of diversity and inclusion initiatives that advance Xavier's Jesuit Catholic mission. The Center welcomes and seeks collaborations with faculty, staff, and students across the campus to create a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable community that enables individuals to reach their full potential as they learn, serve, and achieve together. Through such partnerships, members of the campus community develop more cultural competence and confidence and are empowered to build organizational capacity for sustained change toward inclusive excellence.
