Zoe Nunley
Manager, Professional Development
I am excited to serve as the Manager of Professional Development at Xavier University. In this position, I design opportunities for people to learn, practice, and grow so they can do their jobs better today and prepare for the roles they want tomorrow.
After growing up outside of Cincinnati, I attended Ball State University for six years, earning a Bachelor's of Science and Master's of Art in Organizational Communication and Professional Development. My experience during this time included public speaking instruction, consulting work, and professional development work in several sectors, including private, non-profit, and government entities. After my time in Indiana, I wanted to expand outside of the Midwest. In July of 2023 I was hired as a Learning and Organizational Development Consultant with the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. For two years I worked providing professional development opportunities for UT staff, including open enrollment trainings, year-long cohort programs for various audiences, 1:1 coaching, personality assessments and more. While I enjoyed my time in Tennessee, it was time to come home. I started with Xavier's Office of Human Resources in July of 2025 and I am excited to make an impact closer to home.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, lifting weights, outdoor activities, sports, reading, and exploring the city of Cincinnati. Feel free to reach out regarding professional development opportunities, questions on how to get involved, or send me a coffee shop recommendation!
