  • Does benchmarking take all of my duties/responsibilities into consideration? 

    Yes, the complete position description was reviewed when determining appropriate classification grades.
     
  • What non-higher education institutions were compared? 

    Visit the Open Forum Presentation in the Benefits Channel on the MYXU Portal for additional information on the market that was used for benchmarking purposes.
     
  • Why isn?t faculty included in this structure? 

    The scope of this project was for staff positions and the University has a different benchmarking and structure process for faculty positions. 
     
  • How often will we review the benchmarks?

    Market information will be reviewed annually. A more comprehensive review of the entire structure should take place every three to five years. 
     
  • Was every position at Xavier reviewed/evaluated? 

    Yes, every staff position was reviewed and placed in a classification grade.
