Molly Dugan, Ed.D.

Dr. Molly Dugan (she/her) joined Xavier University in August 2011 as an Assistant Director in the Office of Student Involvement, where she worked with Xavier’s new student orientation programs, including Manresa, the Peer Mentors, various leadership programs, Senior Week, and developed the Arrupe Leaders Program. In August 2019, Molly was selected to serve as the Director of Student Integrity through a national search. For more than eight years, Molly has been directly engaged with Xavier’s conduct processes as a member and chairperson of the University Conduct Board, the Appeal Board, and the University Harassment Hearing Panel where she gained expertise in implementing fair, impartial, and effective behavioral interventions. 

Molly is a graduate of three Jesuit institutions, including Xavier. She received her bachelor’s degree in history and theology from the University of San Francisco, where she was highly involved on campus and found her calling as a student affairs professional. She then went on to Seattle University to pursue a master's degree in Student Development Administration. After graduating from Seattle U in 2008, Molly accepted a position at Converse College in Spartanburg, SC, serving for three years as the Director of Student Activities and Orientation/Assistant Director of Residential Life before coming to Xavier.

Most recently, Molly graduated from Xavier University in December 2018 with her doctorate in Leadership Studies with a focus on higher education. Her dissertation research focused on ethical decision making by undergraduate students at Jesuit institutions.
