Here's a quote from Greg Hodge about the 2014 Program:

"I have worked in ethics and compliance for over 19 years, but I have never before served in a role such as this, so this was a new experience for me as well as everyone else involved with the course. While the role may be new, the purpose of the ethicist in residence is a simple one: support and enhance the student's learning experience by providing meaningful "real world" business ethics and compliance input where possible. Since the itinerary for our trip was a busy one with visits to companies such as BP, GlaxoSmithKline and L'Oreal, there were ample opportunities for me to provide input and ask probing questions which - I hope - bettered the learning experience of the students. I think it was especially helpful for the students to hear how different companies can approach ethics and compliance risks with different but equally effective solutions. Beyond my support of the students, I was also able to do a little bench-marking of my own during our company visits making the trip beneficial for me from a professional perspective. Certainly, the trip was personally satisfying from a cultural perspective given the amount of free time afforded the group in both London and Paris.

Overall, it was an honor and a privilege to serve as the first ever "ethicist in residence" for the Ethics MBA course in London and Paris. It was especially gratifying to travel and interact with such a sharp and energetic group of student (note to future ethicist in residence: bring your walking shoes). I want to personally thank Professor Paul Fiorelli and Xavier University for granting me this opportunity."
