Celebrate

Celebrate? Surely that's premature. We haven't quite finished the last week of classes.

Piles of grading, final exams, and then still more grading stand between us and the end of the academic year. 

And yet: I hope that amidst it all, you'll take moments to notice -- and celebrate -- the accomplishments of our students.

Remember that their achievements are our achievements too, and the reason we are all here.

Need a reminder? Join us tomorrow for the annual spotlight on student learning: the Celebration of Student Research and Creative Activity on Friday in Alter Hall between 2 and 4:30pm.

All of you will recognize at least some of the nearly 100 students offering posters and presentations of their research.

So stop by, support our students, and give yourself a reason to celebrate this week.

And then back to grading.
