Drones and their Applications

The event will feature panelists with a wide range of experience with drones. Each participant will present their insights for about 15 minutes, followed by an audience Q&A session.

Refreshments will be served before the meeting begins.

All university members are welcome to attend.

Panel Members:

• Sgt. Jay Kemme, Cincinnati Police Department, utilizing drones as first responders in emergency operations
• Steve Brickner, Instructor at Cincinnati State's Aviation School, teaching physics and maintaining an active career as a farmer
• Tim Lyons, Drone Pilot supporting operations for a commercial solar energy provider
• Chris Lyons, Founder of OMMA, Drone Pilot aboard the JOIDES Resolution vessel during Arctic Ocean research
• Michael Huber, Drone Pilot providing aerial cinematography services for Xavier Marketing.
