Safety Team II

Xavier is continually exploring ways to enhance its culture of safety. Several years ago, with that in mind, Xavier formed Safety Team 1 to develop recommendations for improving safety on campus. Their recommendations have been implemented. Recently, SafetyTeam 2 was established for the 2012-13 academic year and is focusing on several key areas including:

• Culture of Safety
• Recommended safety enhancements – on and nearby campus
• Policies and procedures
• Safetyassessment and measurement methodologies
• Communications
• Follow through of Safety Team 1 recommendations
