• The Xavier University Police Department is pleased to release the 2010 Annual Security and Services Report which shows reports of campus crime dropped by 27 percent during 2010. The decrease in reported crime occurred at the same time the University was increasing campus-wide Community Oriented Policing initiatives. It also took place during a year in which Xavier had the most students living on campus and attending class in the University's history.

• Officers within the Department are State Certified with police powers and authority as set forth under section 1713.50 of the Ohio Revised Code. All officers have obtained at least 450 hours of specialized training through the Ohio Peace Officer’s Training Academy as mandated under section 109.78(D) of the Ohio Revised Code.
