Dr. Peter Mallow

Dr. Peter Mallow is the Chair of the Health Services Administration Department and Director of the Master of Health Services Administration Program. He is an experienced practitioner/scholar devoted to developing and executing value-based healthcare programs. He has served as principal investigator for numerous cost-effectiveness, outcomes research and systematic literature review research projects.

Dr. Mallow’s research interests include decision making within complex organizations with respect to uncertainty, value, efficiency and equity. His methodological expertise is in conducting economic evaluations and outcomes research to make explicit the trade-offs involved in these complex decisions. He received his PhD from the University of Cincinnati.

He has previously served as a Global Program Director, Health Economics, Market Access and Reimbursement for a Fortune 20 global healthcare services and products company, and as Associate Director of Health Economics for a global contract research organization.
