What is Canvas?
Canvas is a cloud-based Learning Management System (LMS) that has consistently been rated highly for its student-centered model and the overall student experience. Canvas is recognized by faculty for its ease of use and its high-quality mobile user interface. Canvas is the LMS that faculty and students use at Xavier.
Canvas allows us to implement Xavier's strategy for anytime, anywhere, any-platform, and any-device learning. This significantly enhances our capability to deliver high-quality online, flipped, and hybrid courses, as well as enriches our resources to support our more traditional face-to-face courses. We believe that Canvas will support Xavier's student learning experience at the level of excellence that we demand today and, as importantly, that it will provide what we will need for tomorrow.
How do I get started?
