What does Ignatian Belonging Mean for Diversity & Inclusion?
-
The intersection of belonging and the Jesuit Catholic tradition lies in shared values, practices, and principles that foster inclusion, community, and personal growth within a framework of faith and service. The Jesuit tradition emphasizes cura personalis, or care for the whole person. But how does this translate into the very work of Diversity and Inclusion? Does living out the ideals of Ignatian Belonging support Diversity and Inclusion? This month, join the Division of Ignatian Belonging as we explore how we can lean into our Jesuit traditions and foster a more united campus community where everyone feels a profound sense of belonging.
Grab a cup of coffee and come experience a brewed awakening with Dr. Kristine Suna-Koro, Dr. Marcus Mescher, and Mr. Joe Shadle as we have a open dialogue around Ignatian Belonging.
