Quick Facts About Us

In November, 2008 the University obtained its first stand-alone public debt ratings. Current long-term debt ratings from Moody’s, S&P and Fitch are A3/A-/A-.

The Treasury Department manages the University’s capital financing and debt obligations. Total long-term debt, used to finance campus construction, is slightly over $200 million.

Our Endowment as of 12/31/2012 was valued at approximately $123.5 million and is invested in a broadly diversified mix of professionally managed investments.  To view the asset allocation see the tab on the left of this page.

On an annual basis the Endowment provides approximately $5 million in funding for student scholarships and University operating support.

Endowment Information Available

The Endowment Values as of 6/30/2012 and the Projected Income Information for FY13 are available.
 
Anyone who manages a Banner Fund that receives Endowment income can now see the estimated income for the current year which has been posted as budgeted revenue for each such fund.  These estimates are based on the University's approved Endowment Spending Policy and the fund values through June 30, 2012.  This has been done to promote better planning in the use of the endowment funds.
