STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION
The Executives are the elected President and Vice Presidents who strive to improve student life through their annual projects and initiatives. Senate
Student Senators are elected by popular vote from among the student body. Sixteen upper-class senators are elected each spring and four first-year senators are elected each fall from the incoming class.

Appointed Positions
Outside of three main branches of the Student Government Association, there are many other ways in which students can get involved with SGA. The Executives are responsible for appointing students each spring who hold specific offices or serve on specific committees on campus. Board of Elections, the LGBTQ Training and Support Intern, Student Rights Representative, Student Conduct Liaison, and 14 different University Committees.
