Athletics

For the Musketeers Building Our Legacy.
And All the Fans Who Keep it Alive.

BIG EAST athletics is where Musketeer spirit meets the national stage.

As the University’s front porch, Xavier Athletics connects students, alumni and fans everywhere — showcasing the values of teamwork, discipline and excellence that define our community. For 310 student-athletes, the bonds forged on the court, field and track are integral to their formation as leaders. But Athletics is also more than competition: it builds pride, strengthens community, and elevates Xavier’s name across the country.

“Athletics is critical to all that Xavier is — not only to our 300+ student-athletes, but for the vitality and overall experience on campus. In addition, the national visibility and exposure provided especially by our basketball programs enhance our brand and identity and our ability to recruit students from all parts of the country.”
