Urban and Regional Sustainability and Resilience

Part-Time Program

The M.A. in Urban and Regional Sustainability and Resilience program is flexible enough to complete on a part-time basis in as little as two years.  Taking two courses per term (summer, fall and spring), students can complete all program requirements in two years.  Students who want to take a bit more time can also craft an individualized plan with their faculty advisor to complete the program in 3 or 4 years by taking 1-2 courses per semester.

Students in the part-time program complete all the same coursework as students in the full-time program, including the sustainability immersions and fieldwork (in most cases, students who are employed full time can incorporate their field time project into their existing job).

For more information about completing the Urban and Regional Sustainability and Resilience program part-time, contact the faculty director, Dr. Mack Mariani at marianim@xavier.edu
