Going Global

Going Global is a provider of both country-specific and USA city-specific career and employment information. This resource provides expert advice for those looking for jobs in the United States or abroad, featuring insider tips and professional advice on topics such as employment trends, salary ranges, job search resources, networking groups, resume/CV writing guidelines and work permit/visa regulations. In addition, Going Global provides users with access to local and international job openings and internship opportunities and valuable H1B employer information.

CareerBeam is a full service career development portal designed to provide all the resources necessary to guide individuals through a strategic job search. Users can create a personalized career plan and conduct a results-oriented career search in an easy-to-use, interactive solution that delivers the most powerful and innovative career tools available.

Resources include access to databases to search for information on companies, contacts and employment opportunities; career exploration tools; resume and cover letter builders; interview preparation resources and more!

Career Shift

CareerShift provides an easy-to-use, approach for cracking the "hidden job market" and for managing your job hunt all in one place. You'll be able to search for jobs and save your searches, find and save a list of contacts, create resumes and cover letters, and put them together in a targeted e-mail or postal mail campaigns.

LinkedIn is a professional social networking site allowing you to connect with professionals in your field of interest, potential employers, Xavier faculty members, recruiters, Xavier alumni, fellow WCB students and more. LinkedIn has proven to be an excellent resource to students seeking to learn more about career fields and to add individuals to their career and job search networks.

Reciprocity Request

Looking for a job or internship outside of Cincinnati? Then consider submitting a reciprocity request. The Williams College of Business Professional Development Center can request access to outside universities and colleges' career resources and services on your behalf. While the WCB PDC can request reciprocity, there is no guarantee of participation.
