At the Student Veterans Center we strive to create a place that acts as a doorway for veterans to become integrated members of the Xavier community.

Meet Our Veterans

Ty Cole

The Student Veterans Center strives to provide all of the resources necessary for veterans and their dependents to pursue their educational and personal goals. Our goal is the academic success of our veteran and military student.

Located across from campus, the Veterans Affairs Center offers an open, friendly space in which veterans feel welcomed and are provided with any guidance necessary to ensure a smooth transition back to school.  The Center’s staff helps veterans through every step of the education process all the way to graduation, assists with employment, and stays in touch after they become Xavier alumni.

Xavier University's Student Veterans Center is ranked no. 2 for service to veterans among 32 Midwest Regional colleges and universities by U.S. News & World Report. With your help we can continue to offer the best programs and facilities to ensure the success of our veteran student population.

Get involved by connecting with current students through mentoring opportunities , becoming a supporter of the center, or serving on our Executive Advisory Board.

"Most universities just get veterans connected to their GI benefits. Here we help them become integrated into the life of the University. Most have never had the college experience, and this gives them a way to connect to the community that’s here.”

–Chris Klug Director, Student Veterans Center
