SWAG Peer Educators
Meet the Peer Educators for the 2020-2021 Academic Year
Annabella is a sophomore nursing major from Mason, Ohio. This is her first year as a SWAG Peer Educator. Annabella serves as a peer educator because she believe that it is our responsibility, as inhabitants of this earth, to listen to one another, look out for one another, and to walk with one another in our struggles in solidarity.
Cheyenne is a junior criminal justice major from London, UK and Mason, Ohio. This is her second year as a SWAG Peer Educator. Cheyenne serves as a peer educator because she is very passionate about mental health. She want to be there for others and remind them that they aren't alone.
Danielle is a senior social work major from Chicago, Illinois. This is her third year as a SWAG Peer Educator. Danielle serves as a peer educator because she gets to connect with students and continue learning more about how we can all take care of our wellbeing.
Erin is a senior psychology major from Cleveland, Ohio. This is her second year as a SWAG Peer Educator. Erin serves as a peer educator because pphysical and mental wellbeing have always been very important to her. When she started college, she learned about Xavier's 8 Dimensions of Wellbeing, and she realized how much more influences how a person feels and acts. She serve to educate more students about the 8 Dimensions of Wellbeing and how each dimension can play a role in our day-to-day lives.
Jordan is a junior finance major from New Jersey. This is his second year as a SWAG Peer Educator. Jordan serves as a peer educator because he wanted to better connect with those who don't find it as easy to find their group of friends/circle. He feels having a positive friend group is key to getting through college, let alone getting through life. That being the case for so many, including him at one point, is what influenced him to be a Peer Educator.
Luke is a junior criminal justice and computer science major from Evansville, Indiana. This is his first year as a SWAG Peer Educator. Luke serves as a peer educator because he hopes to advocate for healthy living on campus by promoting the dimension of Purpose. College is full of adventures, and he is excited to journey through them alongside others!
Sierra is a junior history and international studies major from Louisville, KY. This is her second year as a SWAG Peer Educator. Sierra serves as a peer educator because she is passionate about helping students on campus and making sure they are safe and well.
Sydney is a junior health services administration major from Falls Church, Virginia. This is her first year as a SWAG Peer Educator. Sydney serves as a peer educator because she wants to be a part of a team that is working towards helping people, she liked the mission of the Student Wellness Advocacy Group to promote student wellness in all dimensions. She likes to be a part of creating positive change, which this team does.
Mrudula is a second year mental health counseling graduate student. She has worked with SWAG as a peer educator and is currently the graduate coordinator for the program. Mrudula serves as a peer educator and graduate coordinator because she thinks wellbeing is especially important for students with all the stress they go through. As a peer educator, she wants to support my peers in any ways and means she can.
